A beautiful vintage English solid 9k gold madeira citrine and pearl scrolling hearts ring, hallmarks for London, 1971. This extremely pretty and good sized vintage solid 9k yellow gold cocktail ring has been designed with a lovely gently domed flower comprising of five gorgeous bezel-set oval faceted madeira citrine petals, the citrines glowing the most stunning deep honey-amber-orange when they touch the light, the center of the flower set with a little seed pearl, the bezel settings all have light-catching crimped edges and the citrines are surrounded with little gold beads, the shoulders have fabulous extensive openwork scrolls with scrolling hearts underneath, the ring with a classic band-a super beautiful ring which looks fantastic on the finger! The ring has English hallmarks with maker ‘J&P’, ‘9 .
A wonderful vintage Modernist solid 9k rose gold smokey quartz cocktail ring, hallmarks for Zem Ltd., London 1971. This fabulous vintage solid 9k rose gold cocktail ring has a very striking Modernist look with a beautiful 14.4 carat oval faceted smokey quartz which glows a deep black-brown with flashes of lighter browns depending on how it touches the light, the smokey quartz set with four large double-tipped curving prongs above an open gallery created with large light catching curving circular desisgns with applied curved gold work shoulders leading to a wide band-a super pretty eye catching ring! The ring has full English hallmarks inside the band with maker’s mark ‘ZLD’ for Zem Manufacturing Jewelers Ltd. who operated in the 1960s and 70s, ‘9 .375’ for 9k gold, date letter ‘q’ for 1971 and the London leopard’s head town mark.
