A unique vintage Modernist Brutalist designer solid 9k gold pyrite cocktail ring, hallmarks for Zem Ltd., London 1971. This fantastic one of a kind solid 9k yellow gold cocktail ring perfectly captures the daring and unique Brutalist fashion statements of the early 1970s! This extraordinary ring has two pyrite crystals-one large and rectangular in shape and the other smaller and abstract in shape set side by side and held with four large double tipped prongs, the pyrite sitting on a wide 'hidden' band so its weight is nicely balanced across the finger-an awesome looking ring designed to be noticed by the entire room! The ring has full English hallmarks inside the band with maker's mark 'ZLD' for Zem Manufacturing Jewelers Ltd. who operated in the 1960s and 70s, '9 .
