This is one of Peggy’s early pieces, made when she lived in Philadelphia. Absract lines & circles inside ovals. Lift bar/ball fastener. Width when closed–slightly over 2″. (See pictures). It was hand crafted by my sister, Peggy Johnson, who passed away in August 2020.

This fantastic one of a kind solid 9k yellow gold cocktail ring perfectly captures the daring and unique Brutalist fashion statements of the early 1970s! This extraordinary ring has two pyrite crystals-one large and rectangular in shape and the other smaller and abstract in shape set side by side and held with four large double tipped prongs, the pyrite sitting on a wide ‘hidden’ band so its weight is nicely balanced across the finger-an awesome looking ring designed to be noticed by the entire room!
