Highly collectible Toshikane Seven Lucky Gods necklace featuring seven individual portraits, exquisitely crafted in porcelain. The porcelains are small, colorful, highly detailed discs, each set in a silver bezel and linked by small jump rings. The Seven Lucky Gods are a group of deities worshiped to bring good fortune. Their names are Ebisu, Daikokuten, Bishamonten, Benzaiten, Fukurokuju, Jurojin and Hotei. The bracelet secures with a slide clasp signed "Toshikane Japan." Circa 1950. Toshikane was a Japanese company specializing in finely crafted porcelain jewelry. It is believed the company was in operation from the 1930s to the 1960s, though specific dates of operation are shrouded in mystery. Most of the pieces produced by Toshikane include representations of Japanese culture.
