A gorgeous vintage Italian designer Mid Century solid 18k gold celestial stars woven mesh ring, dating to circa the 1960s. This unusual and wonderful looking vintage Italian solid 18k gold ring has a lovely warm yellow-with hints of rose gold color and with it's large size also makes a super thumb ring! The ring has been created with nine rows of intricately woven gold wires creating a flexible mesh representing the night sky which sits comfortably on the contours of the finger, the ring has 20 beautiful highly polished five-prong floating stars all around the band which completes the lovely celestial scene-a super pretty ring designed to be noticed! The ring is marked inside the band with an Alessandria, Italy maker's mark '409AL' and '750'. The ring tests for 18k gold.
