Displaying the mesmerising iridescence for which New Zealand paua shell is so highly prized, the carving features expressive traditional styling with hand-painted red eyes and finely engraved detail throughout. The shell shimmers with vivid tones of blue, green, violet and gold that shift beautifully in changing light.
