It is off round with the 3/4″ width tapering to 1/2″ wide, and the slightly oval interior is 2 3/4″ long x 2 1/2″ (8 1/4 interior). Many of these newer bangles are non silver but this one is an early example and is sterling.

Unique One of a Kind Vintage Tibetan Or possible Moroccan or Yemen Pressed Barrel Amber Resin ? Prayer Beads Necklace with a large Silverplate Hand Hammered Pendant. This is an estate find so the origin is not quite known. I have seen many of this type of beads listed as bakelite, so just in case I tested them, and these beads did not pass the bakelite test and did pass the test for amber or young resin, like copal – crackles to heated steel needle, but it is possible that it’s a young amber resin. The necklace measures 22 inches drop, 44 full length, the pendant is approximately 3 long and 2.5 inches wide. See photos for more details.
