Vintage Los Castillo of Taxco sterling silver and onix negro jewelry ensemble. The renowned Mexican family of Taxco established their shop in early 1940’s after studying under the famous William Spratling. The collar measures 16.5 inches made of sterling and negro onix as stamped on the actual piece. The look can be changed by adding the brooch/pendant to the collar. The brooch is 2 5/8 in diameter. The bracelet is a link style with safety chain and measures 6.5 inches. The earrings are screw back and measure about 1 inch in length. This beautiful ensemble is a true collectors item to be cherished by generations to come. Beautiful Silvertone bar brooch with real emerald gemstone. It is unsigned, and small. There is some glue or residue on one side where the gemstone is in place, I try to avoid cleaning older items in case of damage. It’s not noticeable but Should Be easy to remove if need be.
