It is signed and hallmarked en verso. This well-made 1940s pin would be a great addition to your collection. I do my best to show any flaws and/or markings as this item is previously owned. Size: Pin is ~ 2 5/8″ long x 2″ wide.
In overall good condition with no dents. The rolling clasp is in good working order. Marked: STERLING.
I have previously sold a Pennino brooch and the quality of this one is very, very similiar. It is a nice, heavy piece, weighing in at 39.1 grams. It is hallmarked in two places with the word “sterling” as shown in the pictures. The piece has a gold wash over the sterling. It measures 2 5/16″ long by almost 1.75″ wide. It has a double pin clip closure. The only possible hallmark on this piece is either a “6” or a “9”. I have researched to no avail. If anyone out there has any information on this quality piece, I would appreciate the information. Please check out the pictures and email with questions.
An elegant, beautiful “forever” bouquet. Brooch is unmarked; there does appear to be a missing plaque on the back. Brooch acid scratch tested positive for. 925 sterling silver.
They are each marked STERLING on the back – see photos. They have normal light tarnish and wear. The rhinestones are all securely set – even the small rhinestones have tiny prongs. They weigh a total of 27.7 grams.
(See the prong back). But, polish to your likin! It has been tested as sterling with a gold wash.
It is not signed sterling but was tested to assure it is. The piece is crafted fromSterling Silver with a durable1/20 12K Gold Filled finish. Signed: Hallmarked “DO 1/20 12K GF” on the reverse.
