This is a very fine antique Art Deco platinum, diamond and synthetic blue sapphire ring. All of the stones are original to the ring. The diamonds are extremely fine old European and Mine cut. There are a total of 18 diamonds with a total weight of .80 – 1 carat. I have had the synthetic sapphire professionally polished as it had scratches due to age. It is bezel set and measures approximately 5.5×4.8 mm. The face of the ring is 21×17 mm and it weights 6.11 grams. It is currently a size 5.5. The last three pics are of the sapphire after being polished.

Estate sale item. This is a beautiful Art deco / Edwardian platinum ring with an approx 0.5+/-carat natural diamond (measured at 5mm diameter ) main center stone and 18 surrounding smaller / melee diamonds. The cut on the diamond is Old European style.. Ring itself is Platinum with a beautiful filigree design.- Total weight is 3.66 grams. The ring measures as a size 3.5 on a mandrel but i’d assume it’s closer to a 4 on the finger maybe. Due to the simplicity of the band on the bottom it would be very easy and not too costly for a jeweler to resize it if need be.
