VTG Brutalist Black Cluster Dangle faceted Beads Brooch Signed Zentall. Charming brooch with black cascading cluster and dangle beads over a hammered look goldtone circular shape. In very nice vintage condition. It is signed by designer Robert Zentall who retired in 1984 and this is a mid century modern brutalist design of his circa 1960. It measures 1.75″ wide and 3″ high and the closure is secure. Non smoking home.
This vintage Robert Zentall brutalist floral brooch is a unique and original piece of fashion jewelry. I’m unable to find the exact date of manufacture, but his brooches were popular from the 1950’s up until the early to mid 1980’s. This is a round, cluster-style brooch with an antiqued gold finish. It measures approximately 2.25″ in diameter and has a height of approximately 1/2″. It has a locking C clasp and is signed on the back. Item is pre-owned, but in good condition. The stones are bezel set into an openwork antiqued silver tone setting on the front and gold tone (including clip) on the back. Very pretty! It attaches with a clip closure. This brooch is in very good condition with very minimal wear due to age and use.
Details: This beautiful ornately detailed brooch contains domed flowers and multi-colored faceted glass stones in blue, red, green and pink. The border is a lace pattern. Made by the New England Glass Works Company – 40s era Measures: 3″ x 2.75″ Condition: The body of the pin is very good and pin is in working order, however there are some smaller rhinestone chips missing.
