Incised on the back of the pendant is “t Foree STERLING. 925.”. Incised on the underside of the clasp is “925.”. 13g silver. The uncommonly elaborate fastener in back is a whimsical pair of sterling silver “fish hooks” consisting of two back-to-back fish shapes with heads, eyes, scales, and elongated tails forming the hooks of the clasp.

This is a lovely vintage necklace and earring set. The necklace is about 18 inches long. It was purchased in Japan. It is made from cultured pink pearls and features a fish hook clasp. The pearls are about half a centimeter wide. The earrings are made for pierced ears. The delicate pink pearl on each earring is also about half a centimeter wide and the earrings are about a centimeter and a half long the necklace weighs 29 grams. Neither the necklace nor the earrings have any makers’ marks. I have marked this necklace as being in good condition only because it is used and was previously worn and the same as true for the earrings. Thank you for looking.
