Weiss uses these “poured glass” orGripoix-style cabochons in deep green and blue tones during the 1950s and 60s. The design utilizes prong-set round and oval cabochons alongside smaller aurora borealis or clear rhinestones to add brilliance.
Stones are prong set. The cross is attached to the bracelet with rivets. Tests positive for Bakelite. Examples of this piece are generally considered to be early unsigned Chanel. Circa 1950.
