It is most likely a transitional piece……featuring a simulated Chrysoprase stone made out of glass.The glass is set on a three-dimensional gilded frame…..embellished with taille d’epargne and a tassel. The pendant suspends from a double chain comprised of alternating green glass beads and gilded links followed by enameled shells, and finishing with a complementing single chain. A gorgeous festoon necklace from the early 1900’s!
