Black glass beaded romantic double chain necklace. Jump ring clasp so not very modern. The beads on the chain appear to be glass, the bottom drop might be Lucite?. I am not sure. 16″ long, the bottom drop is approx.
Style: Festoon / Lavalier / Fringe Pendant. The elongated chain beads show excellent color consistency and minimal wear around the drill holes. Material: Ornate Stamped Brass / Brass Filigree. Era: Art Deco (Circa 1920s – 1930s).
Antique, Victorian Revival, Green Chrysoprase Glass & Taille D’epargne Festoon Tassel Necklace Look at all photos This is an outstanding Czech made necklace estimated to be circa early 1900-1910…..unique for it’s Victorian Revival profile. It is most likely a transitional piece……featuring a simulated Chrysoprase stone made out of glass. The glass is set on a three-dimensional gilded frame…..embellished with taille d’epargne and a tassel. The pendant suspends from a double chain comprised of alternating green glass beads and gilded links followed by enameled shells, and finishing with a complementing single chain. A gorgeous festoon necklace from the early 1900’s!
