This spectacular vintage ring is 14 karat white gold, with a marquise shaped carved black Onyx stone. .25 carat genuine diamond center stone set in an eastern star design. 🤩 Style: The intricate filigree metalwork, geometric shape, and use of contrasting black onyx and white gold are all characteristic of the Art Deco era (circa 1920s-1930s). Design & Symbolism: The star motif setting for the center diamond suggests an “Eastern Star” ring, which is the emblem for the largest fraternal organization in the world open to both men and women (related to Freemasonry). The various points of the star represent different biblical heroines and virtues. This ring is absolutely stunning in excellent condition!
