Miriam Haskell Signed c.1949 Frank Hess Choker Milk Glass Gilt Coral Rose Montée
This is a Frank Hess “Nature” piece of Miriam Haskell that is rarely seen at auction. It features all of the attributes of the post-war Hess period, featuring the use of both the subtle Russian Gold 24k plate and the lesser seen gilt metal beads (the bright gold coral branch beads). It also features the oval hang tag embossed thru the plate, as well as the early hook clasp, also signed. The rose montée is in beautiful condition and still firmly sewn into its filigree base and surrounded by its charming gold petals. This choker necklace may be adjusted from 13”-16” in length. It has been thoughtfully stored and is in excellent condition.
