***UPDATE – NOT A STAR! This is a Hexagonal Pink Sapphire Cabochon with deeply saturated Topaz and Amethyst accent facets. The facets were done impeccably with lots of detail. Vintage from Thailand, early 70’s possibly. I do not know any history of the ring beyond that. The ring is very large is size on the hand, but the finger sizing is for tiny fingers. EST size: small 6. I cannot tell what the metal is. Best guess is gold over silver. No stamp. Ships from California.
