Vintage Los Castillo Taxco Brooch Seahorse Pin Inlay MOP Brass Signed 3” Read

Vintage, pre-owned condition with age-appropriate wear. Brass shows surface scratches, scuffs, and patina/tarnish from age and use. Some sections of the abalone show natural lines and age wear, and there is a small area of loss near the body segment (see close-up photos). Pin mechanism is intact and functional. Please review all photos carefully as they are the best description of condition and detail. • Sold as found, I have not polished the brass so the new owner can choose to keep the vintage patina or shine it up. • Colors may vary slightly due to lighting and screen settings. Lovely statement brooch for a Taxco, Los Castillo, or sea life jewelry collection.

Vintage Los Castillo Bird Brooch Azurite Inlay Brass Dove #17 Mexico Pin RARE

Vintage Los Castillo Bird Brooch Azurite Inlay Brass Dove #17 Mexico Pin RARE. Very hard to find. I did not clean it and left it as I purchased it. Stamped as shown. Fast shipping. Thank you! Gorgeous! In good vintage condition–wear is consistent with age and use. The brass has areas of wear, but the bird is still so stunning. I believe the inlay is azurite, as this was a common stone used by Los Castillo, but malachite may also be part of the inlay. A wonderful, rare piece for any collection! Please see photos for more detail.
