Vintage Siam sterling silver niello jewelry set. Includes a pendant necklace and matching earrings, each with the Goddess Mekhala motif worked in black niello against silver. Sterling silver with traditional Thai niello enamel work. The dark niello contrasts sharply with the polished silver detailing. Gently used with minor wear consistent with age. The niello is intact with no chipping. Some light surface scratches on the silver, nothing deep. Clasp and earring backs are functional. This style was made for the tourist trade in mid-20th century Thailand. Pieces like this are increasingly hard to find as a complete matching set.
