Antique 14K Gold Art Deco circa 1902s 3.85 Ct Total Weight Diamond Ring Size 6.54.8 gram Handmade American , three larger Old European Cut Diamond ring total weight of 2.38 Carat for larger stones and 26 smaller Old European Cut, total diamond weight of 1.47, grand total diamond weight of 3.85. circa 1920s, in 14K white gold, tested, not marked. Finger size 6.5 on finger, showing 6.25 on mandrel, ring in lozenge design, pierced work.  As Platinum became a military metal on 1925 and went into prohibition in U S, jewelers start designing jewelry in 14K white gold. Since Modern Diamond cut diamond was designed in 1936, the cut of diamonds and usage of metal places this ring approximately at late 1920s. Ofcourse, all said are assumptions due to historical facts.     Diamonds are earth mined. Crystals were probably cut and polished in New York, as New York was thriving Jewelry manufacturing center in late Victorian, Edwardian and Art deco eras. As end of second World War, jewelry making was the lucrative manufacturing business pursued by Europeans. Ring is aged correctly with coherent wear and tear. Diamonds are all in good shape, with no external chips. Such chips and cracks would have happened in misuse.
