A lovely vintage English 16.5 inch solid (not filled, rolled or plated) 9k yellow gold belcher chain necklace, hallmarks for 1990. This beautiful vintage estate solid 9k yellow gold 2mm chain necklace has wonderful round belcher links which have been highly polished so they catch the light beautifully from every direction, the chain is held with a solid 9k yellow gold spring ring clasp-very pretty! The chain has English hallmarks with maker’s mark ‘HS’, three times marked ‘9 .375’ for 9k gold, the Birmingham import triangle mark and date letter ‘Q’ for 1990. The chain tests for 9k gold. The chain measures approximately 16 1/2 inches long and is about 2mm wide. The chain weighs approximately 4.7 grams. The chain is in excellent condition with all over light general wear. The clasp works well.
