It features beautifully detailed patterns and hand cut black Onyx faces at the center of the panels. Much of his jewelry closely resembles Spratling’s designs and is made from high-quality 980 silver (higher content than sterling).
For those who are unfamiliar, I’ve included a bio about Navarrete below. Under Navarrete’s supervision, many of Spratling’s artists were trained and later established their own careers. His work is valued for itstechnical skill, intricate inlay work (including abalone and onyx), and heavy, luxurious construction.
