Antique 20’s, 30’s Pink Glass Beads with Knot dividers on this simply gorgeous Flapper Continuous, no Clasp, Necklace. This necklace was my grandmother’s so I can vouch for its authenticity. I have a lot of my grandmothers jewelry and antique clothing.
Antique real presious blood coral and amber beaded necklace. 60″ 6mm. Push lock single strand gold filled filligree clasp. Amber seed beads spacers. Red coral symbolizes protection, vitality, and strength across cultures, often linked to Mars in astrology, while amber symbolizes healing, warmth, good luck, and is associated with the Root chakra’s stability. Both are organic gemstones, prized for their unique connection to living organisms and used historically as talismans for protection against negative forces and the evil eye.
FLAPPER LENGTH 54″ . The more I look at this necklace the more I think it may be Czechoslovakian in origin. I’ll openly admit, though, that it is NOT marked at all. The individual glass beads on this necklace are in the following colors: blue, turquoise, green, yellow, white, red, reddish-orange, brownish, clear, and pink.
• Overall: A well-preserved, high-quality survivor of the Art Deco period. Given the quality of the glass and the traditional brass-tone wire linkage, this piece is a classic example of Czech/Bohemian artistry from the early 20th century.
