This beautiful vintage Sarah Coventry “Bittersweet” brooch was originally released in 1962. This classic mid-century costume jewelry piece features a detailed, textured gold tone botanical leaf spray adorned with three vibrant, pear shaped faux coral beads. Features a safety roll-over clasp which is functional and secure. Good used condition. There is some tone loss on the metal. See photos for details and measurements.
The flower is set into an open-back gold-plated prong setting that allows light to pass beautifully through the stones.
The color is a little less bright than photos suggest, and they could be worn together for a 25″ length.
