Beautiful Antique Victorian Revival style aged silver tone bar brooch with multi color Czech Glass rhinestones. Marked. It is almost 3 1/4″ long and 1 3/4″ high. It weighs 1.1 oz. The brooch is in very good condition for this age. New England Glass Works operated in Providence, RI from about 1911 to 1958. It became Rice Weiner in 1938, yet continued stamping it’s jewelry with the original “NE” Chalice logo. Distinctive cast metal pieces are often in filigree floral and foliage designs set with colorful glass stones and / or rhinestones. It can be worn as a brooch, pin, or dress clip. There are missing stones which I intended to replace, but never got around to it. Also look at the back of the brooch. I think it was a production error.
