Vintage square rectangular sterling silver & amethyst clip on earrings. Beautiful deep and dark sparkling purple faceted stones. 1/2″ tall x 3/8″ wide x 1/4″ deep. Stamped: 925 MEX (Mexico). Weight: 14g. Actual age unknown. These were my mother’s in the early 70s, though I don’t know how old they were when she got them. Still in very nice condition, with some light scuffs and scratches. One of the clips is set slightly askew. See photos.
