Authentic pieces are typically stamped with “JB STERLING” on the clasp. Almost all of my pieces are handmade, so they will not be perfect. If an item is improperly described it would not be intentional.

I believe the chain would likely be considered a “Flat Link Chain.”. The clasp bears a spring ring closure and it appears to link to any of the chain links on the opposite end (ie – there isn’t a dedicated end piece for it to attach to).

I often use a coin as a prop to help you gauge the size. There is a gold tone charm on it that I could not take off because the jump ring is soldered on, so it is up to you to keep it or take it off.
