If viewing on mobile device: Click on Item Description to view full description and all pics, many given. antique 19C Victorian Sterling Silver CANNETILLE BRACELET Mesh Like beautiful Click images to enlarge Description A beautiful antique, c. late 19C – early 1900’s,  Victorian sterling silver Cannetille bracelet.   Looks and feels beautiful on.   The cannetille work is fine and the bracelet feels like mesh so it drapes so perfectly on ones wrist.  It’s gorgeous, these are becoming harder to find these days, the work is quite old.   Originally designed to imitate or replicate filigree and embroidery in metals and gems.  This work was very popular pre Victorian through the late 19C.   S shape clasp with top ‘flower’. Unmarked, tested positive for sterling silver.    There are 2 missing spots of the petite silver edge trim, 1 by the closure and the other about midway along 1 edge.  Wire on flower slightly bent.   One can close down the clasp a bit so it fits tighter but I leave that to the new owner as desired.  Measures approx. 7-1/2″ x 5/8″ wide.  Weighs approx. .89 troy oz on my scale.
