Offered here is a superb vintage sterling silver sword & shield brooch that features a faceted purple glass in the center. The hallmarks on this brooch indicate that the brooch was made of sterling silver in Birmingham, England in 1954. It's signed by Alfred James Holland & William Frank Cook that traded as Cook, Holland & Co. It also has been tested as 925 sterling silver. Good vintage condition.
