Alva Studios created this pre Colombian pendant from the Cleveland Museum of Art using the original Mayan artifact. It's gold electroplated metal alloy cast with a loop on the back ready for your favorite chain. Alva Studios was known In the mid-century, for replicating high quality Museum pieces until the early 1980s when they went out of business. I've included an ad in the photos from 1972. The pendant has small pins in the feet, mounting it to a small wooden platform for display. I'm assuming the pins could be clipped off so the pendant can be worn. 3 in tall, 2 in wide.
