A fabulous vintage English Modernist solid 9k gold cultured pearl ring, hallmarks for Birmingham 1976. This wonderful vintage solid 9k yellow gold ring has a nice abstract Modernist design with an open undulating wave setting set with two floating 5mm cultured pearls which glow a lovely silvery white when they touch the light, the ring with split shoulders and a classic band-beautiful! The ring has full English hallmarks inside the band with maker's mark 'ML', the royal crown for gold, '375' for 9k gold, the Birmingham anchor town mark and date letter 'b' for 1976. The ring tests for 9k gold. The ring is approximately a size 5 3/4. The ring measures about 15mm x 8mm across the face. The pearls measure approximately 5mm. The ring rises about 7mm above the finger and weighs approximately 2.75 grams.
