This is an exquisite choker made of pearls and beads from the 1920s-1950s. Backed in cream silk. It attaches with 2 hook & eyes (see photo). The pearls look like engineered or faux pearls to me, with a deep creamy color. The few cylinder shaped beads and rhinestones have darkened and silvered slightly with age. This shows no sign of use. No pears/ beads missing, no loose threads, the closures are tight, and there are no signs of staining or use to the silk backing. It is meant to be worn as a choker, tight on the neck. I have a 13” neck and it fits me snuggly but comfortably. I would not advise wearing it if your neck exceeds 13”.
