This ring is circa 1960s. It's done in 10k solid gold, and the mounting is very different. The 5.5 mm Akoya pearl has great lustre and what looks to be thick nacre. I see no blemishes. The setting has two squared offset bars of gold underneath the pearl which bypass each other, and two more squared bars of gold which rise up on each side in a cathedral fashion and make the pearl look "tension set" with no prongs!
